Audencia Nantes School of Management: Press conferences announcing partnerships with Chinese institutions
Challenge
On October 28 and 29, 2014, Audencia Nantes School of Management organized two press conferences to present its partnerships with two top Chinese universities: Tsinghua University and Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT).
The two conferences were held on two consecutive days, and Audencia were expecting many different media to attend, especially print media specialized in education news.
Solution
NSB analyzed the event program and the profiles of the speakers, and invited journalists from management & economic media for the first conference, as the theme of the conference was social responsibility of Chinese companies. The DBA program in RSA, which was co-launched by Audencia Nantes and Tsinghua University, was also presented. NSB invited education media for the second conference which was dedicated to introducing the academic partnership between Audencia Nantes and BIT. Different journalists from the same media attended the two conferences.
Results
In total, 19 media outlets attended the conference on the first day, and 12 media (including Xinhua News Agency) attended the second conference. More than 80 press clippings were published in the targeted media.
